About โWrite an emailโ
The child gets a task, like writing to their grandmother at her address, and fills in the โToโ, โSubjectโ and โMessageโ boxes as in a real email program. Before sending, the activity checks the address, subject and greeting and explains what's missing.
When the message is ready the child sees its journey step by step: from the computer to the mail server, across the internet to the recipient's server, then into the inbox. Nothing is really sent; it all happens inside the page.
