🌟 The trip to the Moon
In 1969 Apollo 11 landed on the Moon, and Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin walked on its surface; it was the first time a human walked on another world.
🔍 The space shuttle
NASA built the space shuttle, a craft that took off like a rocket and came back to land like a plane, and used it for many years to carry astronauts and satellites.
💡 Probes to the planets
NASA has sent robotic probes to every planet in the solar system, and rovers that drive on Mars, photographing its rocks and looking for signs of water.
🎯 Working together
NASA works with other space agencies, like Europe's, Japan's, Russia's and Canada's, on the International Space Station, and Arab space agencies take part in space projects too.
