π An amazing nose
A dog's sense of smell is thousands of times stronger than ours! That's why police and rescue teams use dogs to find missing people under rubble and snow.
π Working dogs
Some dogs herd sheep, some guard houses, some guide blind people through the streets, and some pull sleds over the snow.
π‘ How does a dog talk?
A dog wags its tail when it's happy, flattens its ears when it's scared, barks to warn or call, and rolls on its back when it wants to play.
π― How do we look after it?
A dog needs the right food and clean water, a walk and play every day, and visits to the vet for its vaccinations.
