π Sharp eyes
An eagle's eyesight is several times better than a person's: it can see a little rabbit moving on the ground while flying very high in the sky.
π Powerful claws
An eagle's most important weapons are its sharp talons and strong feet, which grip its prey tightly. Then it uses its hooked beak to tear up the food.
π‘ A giant nest up high
An eagle builds its nest from big branches high in tall trees or on high rocks, and comes back every year to add new branches, so some nests become enormous.
π― A partner for life
Eagles stay with the same partner all their lives, and both parents protect the nest and feed the chicks until they learn to fly and hunt.
