The story of Moses (Musa)

Moses, peace be upon him, is the one God spoke to. He was born in the time of the cruel Pharaoh, and God protected him as a baby in a box floating on the river. Later God sent him to Pharaoh, and saved him with the Children of Israel by parting the sea for him.

๐ The baby on the river
Moses' mother was afraid for her son because of Pharaoh's soldiers, so God inspired her to put him in a box and place it on the river. He reached Pharaoh's palace, where Pharaoh's wife loved him and raised him, and God brought him back to his mother to nurse him.
๐ The fire on the mountain
Moses grew up, and on his way back from Madyan he saw a fire near Mount Sinai. When he came close, God called him and spoke to him, sent him to Pharaoh, and gave him signs: the staff that turns into a snake, and the shining white hand.
๐ก Before Pharaoh
Moses went to Pharaoh with his brother Aaron, and they spoke to him gently as God had told them. But Pharaoh was arrogant and gathered magicians to defeat him; Moses threw down his staff, and the magicians believed in God.
๐ฏ The sea parts
Moses left at night with his people, and Pharaoh and his soldiers followed them. When they reached the sea, God told him to strike it with his staff, and it split into a dry path; they crossed and were saved, and Pharaoh and his soldiers drowned.
