๐ŸŒŸ Changing color

A chameleon changes color depending on its mood, the temperature and the light: it may turn dark when it's cold to soak up the sun's heat, and bright when it's angry or wants attention.

๐Ÿ” Swiveling eyes

A chameleon can move each eye on its own in a different direction! It can look forward with one eye and backward with the other at the same time.

๐Ÿ’ก A tongue like an arrow

A chameleon's tongue is very long, sometimes longer than its body, with something sticky at the tip. It shoots it out lightning-fast at an insect, which sticks to it, then pulls it back into its mouth.

๐ŸŽฏ Walking slowly

A chameleon walks slowly along branches, swaying like a leaf in the wind, and grips the branches with its feet and curled tail.
