🌟 Hidden spots
If you look at a black panther in sunlight, you'll see its spots are there, just hidden in its black fur, like black writing on dark paper.
🔍 The ghost of the forest
Black panthers mostly live in thick, dark forests, where their black color helps them vanish into shadows and darkness, so they get close to their prey unseen.
💡 The puma: mountain lion
The puma is a big, light brown cat with no spots that lives in the mountains and forests of the Americas. It's an excellent jumper, and instead of roaring it makes whistling and screaming sounds.
🎯 A lone hunter
Like most big cats, the panther lives alone, hunts deer, monkeys and wild pigs, and climbs trees skillfully.
