🌟 Three touches
Each team has only three touches to send the ball back over the net: usually a dig, then a set, then a powerful hit called a spike. A player can't touch the ball twice in a row.
🔍 Indoors and on the beach
Indoor volleyball has six players per team on a wooden floor. Beach volleyball has only two players per team, playing barefoot on the sand.
💡 The block
When the other team spikes, players from the defending team jump near the net and raise their arms to stop the ball, and this is called a block.
🎯 A game for everyone
Volleyball can be played at school, in the park and on the beach. It teaches teamwork, jumping and concentration, and all you need is a ball and a net.
