🌟 Field hockey

Field hockey is played on grass or artificial turf, with eleven players on each team. The ball may only be hit with the flat side of the stick.

🔍 Ice hockey

In another kind, players skate on ice in special boots and hit a black rubber puck instead of a ball, and it's very popular in Canada and Russia.

💡 Protection

The hockey goalkeeper wears thick protective clothing and a helmet with a mask, because the ball is hard and flies fast. Players wear shin guards and mouth guards.
