Physical education is a school subject where we learn sport, games and movement. We run, jump, play ball and exercise, so our bodies get stronger and healthier, and we also learn teamwork, respect for rules and good sportsmanship.
🤩 Did you know?

🌟 Why do we need it?
Moving and playing strengthen the heart, muscles and bones, make the body flexible, help us sleep well and concentrate in lessons, and make us feel happy.
🔍 What do we learn?
In PE lessons we learn to run properly, jump, throw and catch a ball, balance, and play team games like football and basketball, and sometimes swimming and gymnastics.
💡 Warm up first
Before any exercise we warm up: we jog gently, move our joints and stretch our muscles so the body is ready and we don't get hurt. At the end we cool down and drink water.
🎯 Sporting spirit
In games we learn to cheer on our classmates, accept losing calmly, congratulate the winner, follow the rules and play fair. What matters is having fun and learning.
