Friday
๐ In short

๐ Getting ready for Friday
We bathe, cut our nails, put on clean clothes and perfume, then go to the mosque early. Whoever comes early to Friday prayer gets a greater reward.
๐ The sermon and the prayer
The imam climbs the minbar and gives two sermons to teach and remind people. We listen carefully without talking, then pray the Friday prayer of two rak'ahs instead of the Dhuhr prayer.
๐ก Surat al-Kahf
It's the Prophet's way to read Surat al-Kahf (The Cave) on Friday. It has beautiful stories: the people of the cave, the owner of the two gardens, Moses and al-Khidr, and Dhul-Qarnayn.
๐ฏ The hour of prayer
The Prophet ๏ทบ told us that on Friday there is an hour when a Muslim asks their Lord for nothing good without being given it. So on that day we pray a lot and send many blessings on the Prophet ๏ทบ.
