Kindness to parents

Our parents work so hard for us: our mother carried us and stayed up with us, and our father works to give us what we need. That's why God commanded us to be good to them, obey them in what is good, and speak to them politely and kindly.

- The Prophet ๏ทบ was asked which deed God loves most, and he named prayer on time, then kindness to parents (reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim).

- Even after children grow up, being good to their parents stays their duty for their whole lives.

๐ Kind words
We speak to our parents in a calm voice, and never say a word that upsets them, not even โughโ. We say โthank youโ, โpleaseโ and โOK, right awayโ.
๐ Helping at home
We tidy our room, help set the table and carry the bags with them. Every little bit of help makes them happy and pleases God.
๐ก Mother first
A man asked the Prophet ๏ทบ: โWho most deserves my good company?โ He said: โYour mother.โ โThen who?โ โYour mother.โ โThen who?โ โYour mother.โ โThen who?โ โYour father.โ
๐ฏ Praying for them
We pray for our parents as the Qur'an taught us: โMy Lord, have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small.โ And we also respect our grandparents and all the elders of the family.
